The social and psychological support for families of children with disabilities through the family counseling/therapy

The diploma thesis entitled Sociopsychological Support for Families with Disabled Children through Family Therapy consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the individual types of disabilities and their effect on the family, deals with the specific aspects of a family with a disabled child and the impact of a traumatic event in the form of a child's disability on the individual members of the family. It also presents a detailed concept of family therapy, including specific therapeutic methods and tools. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a qualitative survey that examines the effect of the child's disability on the family system and the options of using family therapy in this target group. The survey is based on interviews with the individual members of families with disabled children.
Effect of risk factors associated with family system on the development of substance use disorders in offspring - case study

Introduction: The diploma thesis deals with the dangerous aspects of development of narcotics on descendants in a family system. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes basics of the family system and its disorders. It includes parents' roles and the risk of the family enviromnent and its influence on the upbringing of a child. The thesis also deals with family factors that ilnfluence family environment. The end of the theoretical part describes types of dangerous and protective factors that influence the formation of descendant's addiction.The practical part is based on qualitative research. The research is made on five case studies. The respondents undergo an institutional treatment based on addictional disorder. Aim: The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the summary of family dangerous and protective factors that may predict presence of alcohol abuse in children and teenagers. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were used to obtain the data, which were then analyzed by the method of creating clusters. The Diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia from the Perspective of Parents of the Diagnosed Individuals

In this bachelor's thesis, I deal with the experiences of parents whose descendants were diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. At the beginning of the theoretical part, I first describe several points of view which can be used when referring to psychotic states: a diagnostic perspective, non-diagnostic perspectives, and an anti-diagnostic perspective. Subsequently, I cover the diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia both from the medical point of view, through its diagnostic manifestations, progressive forms and possibilities of treatment, and as a factor significantly affecting the quality of life. Furthermore, I focus on attitudes, emotions, behavioral patterns and needs of the parents of the diagnosed descendants. The theoretical part of the thesis is concluded with a chapter concerning with various options of psychosocial support for a family system one of whose members has got an experience with a psychotic episode. The empirical part is focused on the experiences of parents whose descendants were given the diagnosis in the age of fifteen or later. The bachelor thesis " Support options and family therapy system for families with domestic violence " is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains eight chapters, in which the basic questions corresponding to this subject are answered. First, it defines domestic violence, while listing its characteristics, causes, forms, and phases. At the same time, it outlines the legal aspects. Further, it discusses the characteristics of victims of domestic violence and the possibilities to help them. It also deals with how to work with victims, which includes a security plan. The theoretical part then lists the institutions that provide assistance to victims of domestic violence. It also identifies the perpetrators of domestic violence the techniques for their recognition, their classification and a definition of how to work with a violent person. The theoretical part also includes a description of the impact of domestic violence on the family system. In addition, there is a chapter devoted to children as both the direct and indirect victims of domestic violence.
